A Python package for fast GPU‐based proton pencil beam dose calculation
Abstract Purpose Open‐source GPU‐based Monte Carlo (MC) proton dose calculation algorithms provide high speed and unparalleled accuracy but can be complex to integrate with new applications and remain slower than GPU‐based pencil beam (PB) methods, which sacrifice some physical accuracy for sub‐second plan calculation.

Machine stability and dosimetry for ultra‐high dose rate FLASH radiotherapy human clinical protocol
Abstract Background The FLASH effect, induced by ultra‐high dose rate (UHDR) irradiations, offers the potential to spare normal tissue while effectively treating tumors. It is important to achieve precise and accurate dose delivery and to establish reliable detector systems, particularly for clinical trials needed to help the clinical transfer of FLASH‐

Smooth structures on a fake real projective space
We show that the group of smooth homotopy $7$-spheres acts freely on the set of smooth manifold structures on a topological manifold $M$ which is homotopy equivalent to the real projective $7$-space. We classify, up to diffeomorphism, all closed manifolds homeomorphic to the real projective $7$-space.

An MRI assessment of mechanisms underlying lesion growth and shrinkage in multiple sclerosis
By applying the tensor model, we analysed lesion orientation and the directionality of lesion expansion/contraction in multiple sclerosis. Each lesion is summarized as an ellipsoid, and the tensor model is applied to calculate lesion anisotropy. From the top to the bottom white matter atlas, surface‐in gradient segmentation and venous atlas used in the

Étude géométrique et topologique du flot géodésique sur le groupe des rotations [PDF]
The aim of this survey paper is to investigate the algebraic complete integrability of Euler-Arnold's body description of the four dimensional rigid body, or equivalently of geodesics in SO(4) using left-invariant metrics that arise from inertia tensors,

Abstract Objective A substantial part of central nervous system (CNS) disorders remains unexplained, despite various new and minimally invasive diagnostic techniques. Within this rapidly developing diagnostic field, the precise role of brain biopsy is unknown.

Abstract Objective Exploring the prevalence and association between intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) and cerebral small vessel diseases (CSVD), this study delved beyond the current scope, utilising high‐resolution vessel wall MRI (HRVW‐MRI) to investigate how subtle changes in intracranial atherosclerotic features influence the various burdens of ...
