Longitudinal Trajectories of Digital Cognitive Biomarkers for Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cognitive impairment is one of the most common and debilitating symptoms of relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). Digital cognitive biomarkers require less time and resources and are rapidly gaining popularity in clinical settings.

Unleashing the Power of Multiomics: Unraveling the Molecular Landscape of Peripheral Neuropathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Peripheral neuropathies (PNs) affect over 20 million individuals in the United States, manifesting as a wide range of sensory, motor, and autonomic nerve symptoms. While various conditions such as diabetes, metabolic disorders, trauma, autoimmune disease, and chemotherapy‐induced neurotoxicity have been linked to PN, approximately one‐third of

Universal Proteomic Signature After Exercise‐Induced Muscle Injury in Muscular Dystrophies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Several neuromuscular disorders (NMDs) are characterized by progressive muscle damage and are marked by the elevation of circulating muscle proteins from activity‐related injury. Despite a diverse array of genetic drivers, many NMDs share similar patterns of exercise intolerance and higher concentrations of muscle injury proteins ...

Real hypersurfaces of a complex projective space

open access: yesProceedings - Mathematical Sciences, 2011
In this paper, we classify real hypersurfaces in the complex projective space \(C P^{\frac{n+1}{2}}\) whose structure vector field is a φ-analytic vector field (a notion similar to analytic vector fields on complex manifolds). We also define Jacobi-type vector fields on a Riemannian manifold and classify real hypersurfaces whose structure vector field ...

“It's Just Good Science”: A Qualitative Study Exploring Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Canadian Arthritis Research

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Despite knowledge that health outcomes vary according to patient characteristics, identity, and geography, including underrepresented populations in arthritis research remains a challenge. We conducted interviews to explore how researchers in arthritis have used equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles to inform their research ...

Correction to "Fixed Points of Maps of a Nonaspherical Wedge"

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2010
In the original paper, it was assumed that a selfmap of , the wedge of a real projective space and a circle , is homotopic to a map that takes to itself. An example is presented of a selfmap of that fails to have this property.

Families of singular algebraic varieties that are rationally elliptic spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We describe families of hypersurfaces with isolated singularities in projective space for which the sum of the ranks of the rational homotopy groups is finite. They have the real homotopy type of either projective space or a smooth quadric.
