Perceptions’ Real Representation in Sadra’s View; Examination and Explanation [PDF]

open access: yesحکمت معاصر, 2013
It is generally conceived that the principal Mulla sadra’s approach in the problem of correspondence was to appeal to the prevalent foundationalism, and quiddity correspondence. However regarding the quiddity as a mere abstraction, as an element of Sadra’

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

A Real Representation Method for Solving Yakubovich-j-Conjugate Quaternion Matrix Equation

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
A new approach is presented for obtaining the solutions to Yakubovich-j-conjugate quaternion matrix equation X−AX^B=CY based on the real representation of a quaternion matrix. Compared to the existing results, there are no requirements on the coefficient

Population Aging as the Social Body in Representation and Real Life

open access: yesAnthropology & Aging, 2013
This article uses three levels of body analysis as presented by Nancy Scheper-Hughes and Margaret Lock to compare old age as a construct in population aging discourse with research on lived experience of people aging in the United States and Ghana.

Rational representation of real functions

open access: yesPure and Applied Mathematics Quarterly, 2021
International audience ; Let X be an irreducible smooth real algebraic variety of dimension at least 2 and let f : U → R be a function defined on a connected open subset U ⊂ X(R). Assume that for every irreducible smooth real algebraic curve C ⊂ X, for which C(R) is the boundary of a disc embedded in U , the restriction f | C(R) is continuous and has a

Personalized Selumetinib Dosing in Pediatric Neurofibromatosis Type 1: Insights From a Pilot Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

Adherence to Protocol Recommendations for Children With Wilms Tumour in Two Consecutive Studies in the United Kingdom and Ireland—Does Variation Matter?

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Aleph_null Hypergravity in Three-Dimensions

open access: yes, 2005
We construct hypergravity theory in three-dimensions with the gravitino \psi_{\mu m_1... m_n}{}^A with an arbitrary half-integral spin n+3/2, carrying also the index A for certain real representations of any gauge group G.

Sirolimus for Extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations: A Scoping Review of the Evidence in Syndromic and Non‐Syndromic Cases

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.
