Real time dispatch gets real time results
1997 IEEE International Symposium on Semiconductor Manufacturing Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.97CH36023), 2002Since the on-line dispatch system is the primary method of prioritizing and directing the flow of work through a paperless fab, it makes sense that we place high demands on a dispatching tool. The demands were met by ASI's RTD system. The flexibility and customizability that RTD offers allows us to execute dispatch logic using real-time factory systems

TIME-TRIGGERED REAL-TIME COMPUTING
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2002Abstract Time-triggered (TT) distributed real-time computing systems are moving into the mainstream for the implementation of safety-critical applications in the aerospace and automotive sectors. This paper introduces the basic principles of a time-triggered real-time computing system, and elaborates on the benefits that can be gained from the ...

Real-time squared: A real-time data set for real-time GDP forecasting
International Journal of Forecasting, 2008Abstract This paper uses real-time data to mimic real-time GDP forecasting activity. Through automatic searches for the best indicators for predicting GDP one and four steps ahead, we compare the out-of-sample forecasting performance of adaptive models using different data vintages, and produce three main findings.

Real Time in Distributed Real Time Systems
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983Any real time computer control system must have a capability to measure the duration between events in the metric of real time and must respond to a stimulus within a given real time interval. This paper discusses some of the implications which result from the inclusion of this real time metric on the specification, communication and error detection in

Real time logging and real time decisions
8th International Congress of the Brazilian Geophysical Society, 2003The exploration and development of oil fields are high cost activities, commonly involving millions of dollars. Usually, technicians face situations where proper and quick decisions could imply money saving. In offshore areas, an exploratory or development well may have a final cost close to 15 US$MM.
