Emergence of Rashba Spin‐Orbit Coupling in Staggered‐Gyromagnetic Photonic Crystals
Rashba spin‐orbit coupling emerges in a staggered‐gyromagnetic photonic crystal under a uniform out‐of‐plane magnetic bias. The staggered magnetization splits a four‐fold Dirac point into a Rashba band structure carrying helical spin textures, verified by a four‐band k‐p model.

Decomposition and interpretation of Mueller matrices
The various decompositions of depolarizing Mueller matrices into products of basic optical devices, i.e. retarders, diattenuators and depolarizers, are critically revisited.

Topological drawings of complete bipartite graphs
Topological drawings are natural representations of graphs in the plane, where vertices are represented by points, and edges by curves connecting the points.

A sequential one‐pot photo‐iniferter RAFT method greatly simplifies the synthesis of PAN‐based block copolymers, offering quick access to hierarchically porous, N‐doped carbon membranes. This scalable and reliable process allows for easy fabrication of functional materials important for carbon capture applications.

Filtered Order-partial Combinatory Algebras and Classical Realizability [PDF]
This thesis is mainly about classical realizability. We study a general construction of abstract Krivine structures from filtered order-partial combinatory algebras. This construction gives interesting models of classical realizability, in the sense that

ABSTRACT Classical Zero Vibration (ZV) and Zero Vibration and Derivative (ZVD) input shapers are designed around a fixed nominal natural frequency and cannot accommodate the time‐varying dynamics introduced when an overhead crane simultaneously travels and hoists a payload.

AbstractA study is made of input-process machines, in the sense of Arbib and Manes, and their behavior. For a given input-process X: K → K the categories Mach(X) of machines and Beh(X) of behaviors are constructed, also a functor E: Mach(X) → Beh(X) which assigns to each machine its behavior.

ABSTRACT Safety‐critical control remains a major challenge for four‐wheel independently steered and driven (4ISD) mobile robots, where high‐accuracy path tracking and obstacle avoidance must be achieved under over‐actuated steering–driving coordination, tire–ground friction limits, and wheel‐torque constraints.
