Weaving strength and care: Situated reflections on women's work and the epistemology of care in biological anthropology

open access: yesFeminist Anthropology, EarlyView.
Abstract This essay examines how gendered expectations, structural precarity, and institutional hierarchies shape research practices, knowledge production, and career trajectories in biological anthropology. Taking the figure of the “strong woman” as an entry point, it questions celebratory narratives of resilience that frame endurance as an individual

Legacy effects of redlining on the distribution of greenspaces in US cities

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and the Environment, EarlyView.
We investigated how a discriminatory housing policy—redlining—has shaped the spatial patterns and configurations of greenspaces throughout 177 cities in the contiguous US. Housing segregation has been a long‐term development practice that has sequestered communities of color to areas with elevated environmental and public health risks.

A Comparative Analysis of the Rebound Hammer and Pullout as Non-Destructive Method in Testing Concrete

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Engineering Research and Science, 2020
A comparative analysis between Rebound Hammer and Pullout method in testing concrete was conducted in this study. Experimental analysis were carried out to compare the correctness between the two testing method in estimating the strength of concrete. Different cube (cubes of 175 x 175 x 175) samples were prepared using two mix designs of 1:2:4 and 1:3 ...

Beyond political risk: Toward a holistic understanding of multinational enterprise resilience in the era of cascading crises

open access: yesGlobal Strategy Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Research Summary This article develops a conceptual framework for understanding multinational enterprise (MNE) resilience in the era of cascading crises. We define resilience as the MNE's capacity to absorb disruption, maintain or restore functioning, and reconfigure operations as conditions shift.
