PLL‐g‐HPA Hydrogel Microneedles Loaded With Rhoifolin Target Macrophages to Alleviate Fibroblast Senescence for Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Diabetic wound healing is hindered by a pathological crosstalk wherein elevated IL‐11 induces M1 macrophage polarization, leading to IL‐1β/IL‐6 release and subsequent fibroblast senescence via RAS/p38MAPK/p53/E2F1 signaling. Here, we develop a Gel@M‐Rho microneedle patch that delivers rhoifolin‐loaded, macrophage membrane‐coated nanoparticles to target

Adiposity rebound may be a predictive index of body size for adolescents — Based on retrospective cohort data in a Japanese rural area

open access: yesAdiposity rebound may be a predictive index of body size for adolescents — Based on retrospective cohort data in a Japanese rural area
Background: We aimed to examine whether the timing of adiposity rebound (AR) could be a predictive index of body size in Japanese adolescents. Methods: The longitudinal individual data of 1438 Japanese children, including 714 boys and 724 girls born between 2001 and 2007, were obtained from child health check-ups conducted at ages 1.5, 2, 3, and 5 ...
