Automated Receiver Function Processing

Seismological Research Letters, 2005
The aim of this is article is twofold: first to introduce an automated processing system based on SOD (Standing Order far Data , http://www.seis.sc.edu/SOD/) (Owens et al. , 2004), and second to give some initial results and pitfalls from our experience with using this system for automated receiver function calculations.

Platelet function in patients receiving enprostil

The American Journal of Medicine, 1986
The effect of 14 days of treatment with enprostil (35 micrograms twice daily) or ranitidine (150 mg twice daily) on platelet function in 21 patients with duodenal ulcer was evaluated in a double-bind, randomized, parallel study. Platelet function, as determined by the results of a coagulation screen, aggregation tests, and an assay for plasma beta ...

Receiver Functions from Autoregressive Deconvolution

Pure and Applied Geophysics, 2007
Receiver functions can be estimated by minimizing the square errors of Wiener filter in time-domain or spectrum division in frequency domain. To avoid the direct calculation of auto-correlation and cross-correlation coefficients in Toeplitz equation or of auto-spectrum and cross-spectrum in spectrum division equation as well as empirically choosing a ...

Pn‐Wave Receiver Function

Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth
AbstractThe receiver function (RF) method is the most widely adopted method for imaging crustal structures using earthquake data. Through attenuation during long‐distance propagation, high‐frequency components are scarce in teleseismic waveforms, resulting in low‐frequency RFs and low‐resolution crustal images.
