Direct imaging of lateral movements of AMPA receptors inside synapses [PDF]
Trafficking of AMPA receptors in and out of synapses is crucial for synaptic plasticity. Previous studies have focused on the role of endo/exocytosis processes or that of lateral diffusion of extra-synaptic receptors. We have now directly imaged AMPAR movements inside and outside synapses of live neurons using single-molecule fluorescence microscopy ...

Neuropharmacological targets for drug action in vestibular sensory pathways [PDF]
The use of pharmacological agents is often the preferred approach to the management of vestibular dysfunction. In the vestibular sensory pathways, the sensory neuroepithelia are thought to be influenced by a diverse number of neuroactive substances that ...

Superconductivity of CH4-intercalated H3S under high pressure [PDF]
The discovery of the high temperature superconducting state in compounds of hydrogen, carbon and sulfur with the critical temperature (Tc) of 288 K at high pressure is an important milestone towards room-temperature superconductors. Here, we have extensively investigated the high-pressure phases of CS2H10, and found four phases Cmc21, P3m1, P-3m1 and ...

Cardiovascular effects of H3 histamine receptor inverse agonist/ H4 histamine receptor agonist, clobenpropit, in hemorrhage-shocked rats. [PDF]
Hemorrhagic shock has a potential to be life-threatening when it is not treated. The main causes of hemorrhagic shock involve: (1) forces causing injury; and (2) diseases that can cause hemorrhage., Therefore, due to the causes of hemorrhagic shock and ...

Stable high-pressure phases in the H-S system determined by chemically reacting hydrogen and sulfur [PDF]
Synchrotron X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy have been used to study chemical reactions of molecular hydrogen (H2) with sulfur (S) at high pressures. We find theoretically predicted Cccm and Im-3m H3S to be the reaction products at 50 and 140 GPa, respectively.

Identification of histaminic (H1-type) receptors in small intestine of broilers by application of histamine and some of its agonists and antagonists [PDF]
Histamine is a biologically active amine (biogenic amine) that has a broad spectra of physiologic and pathologic reactions in the organism. Its effects are shown through 4 types of specific receptors (H1, H2, H3 and H4).

An Early Benchmark of Quality of Experience Between HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 using Lighthouse [PDF]
Google's QUIC (GQUIC) is an emerging transport protocol designed to reduce HTTP latency. Deployed across its platforms and positioned as an alternative to TCP+TLS, GQUIC is feature rich: offering reliable data transmission and secure communication. It addresses TCP+TLS's (i) Head of Line Blocking (HoLB), (ii) excessive round-trip times on connection ...
