DR5 Governs Compound Exocytosis in Colonic Goblet Cells via TATA‐Box Binding Protein‐Dependent Bestrophin‐2 Transcriptional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
DR5 knockout exhibits a thinner colonic mucus layer, leading to mild dysbiosis, increased susceptibility to Citrobacter rodentium invasion, and exacerbated epithelial injury. Mechanistically, DR5 binds transcription factor TBP, which regulates the expression of gene Best2 via its promoter.

Biomimetic Organic Nanozyme as Tumor Vaccines for Targeted Suppression of Ammonia‐Induced T Lymphocyte Death to Augment Breast Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The organic nanozyme IR‐IHpd, which has NIR‐PDT and POD‐like activity, is designed for continuous ROS generation. It is co‐encapsulated with CB‐839 and coated with DC membranes to simultaneously target tumors and T cells. Under NIR irradiation, immunogenic cell death is activated. Concurrently, CB‐839 suppresses ammonia‐induced T lymphocyte death (AITD)

Case Series of Nizon‐Isidor Syndrome by Heterozygous Variants in MED12L With Further Evidence of Mitotic Instability in One Case With Diploid–Triploid Mosaicism

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Nizon‐Isidor syndrome is a rare disorder caused by heterozygous variants in MED12L, with only eight documented cases in the literature. Here, we present three additional cases of this syndrome. Proband 1 was a 7‐year‐old female who presented with developmental delay, right‐leg hemihypertrophy, laryngeal cleft, esotropia, abnormal skin ...

Patient‐Specific Coculture of S. aureus and P. aeruginosa Enhances Epithelial Barrier Disruption and Virulence in CRS

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that is associated with polymicrobial infections, often involving S. aureus and P. aeruginosa. It is unclear whether the polymicrobial context plays a role in exacerbating epithelial damage, inflammation, and resistance to therapy. Methods S. aureus and P. aeruginosa (n =
