MG53 Coordinates Macrophage Polarization and Neuroimmune Coupling to Promote Corneal Nerve Regeneration via the MPEG1–MVP–STAT6 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corneal nerve regeneration is critical to corneal wound healing processes. The current study reveals a novel role of MG53 in promoting corneal nerve regeneration after alkali induced injury. Mechanistically, MG53 enters macrophages via its receptor, MPEG1, promotes MVP K63 ubiquitination, and triggers STAT6 induced repair‐related genes expression ...

Pure distal 11q deletion without additional genomic imbalances in a female infant with Jacobsen syndrome and a de novo unbalanced reciprocal translocation

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]We report a neonate with pure deletion of distal 11q (11q23.3-->qter) and Jacobsen syndrome. The patient had growth restriction, petechiae, thrombocytopenia, dilation of renal pelvis, congenital heart defects, and seizures.

A Rare De Novo Reciprocal Translocation 46,XX,rec(7;13)(p22;q32) Karyotype

open access: yes, 2021
Carriers of structural chromosomal rearrangements such as Robertsonian or reciprocal translocations have an increased risk of spontaneous abortion and producing offspring with genetic abnormalities.

Amuc_1473 Links Gut Microbes to Skeletal Homeostasis and Counteracts Multifactorial Osteoporosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Amuc_1473, a previously uncharacterized protein enriched in Akkermansia muciniphila‐derived extracellular vesicles, is identified as a gut–bone messenger that promotes osteogenesis and inhibits osteoclastogenesis by engaging transcriptional and translational regulators in bone cells.

INB3P: A Multi‐Modal and Interpretable Co‐Attention Framework Integrating Property‐Aware Explanations and Memory‐Bank Contrastive Fusion for Blood–Brain Barrier Penetrating Peptide Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
INB3P is a multimodal framework for blood–brain barrier‐penetrating peptide prediction under extreme data scarcity and class imbalance. By combining physicochemical‐guided augmentation, sequence–structure co‐attention, and imbalance‐aware optimization, it improves predictive performance and interpretability.

A Japanese case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia with t (1;6)

open access: yesExperimental Hematology & Oncology, 2012
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) rarely exhibits an aggressive clinical course and its patients often have chromosomal deletions or additions. Furthermore, reciprocal translocations are barely observed in CLL.

Supplementary Material for: De novo Subtelomeric Deletion Additional to an Inherited Apparently Balanced Reciprocal Translocation

open access: yes, 2017
Objective: We describe the analysis of an apparently balanced inherited reciprocal translocation in a fetus presenting with multiple congenital abnormalities, characterize the structural chromosome rearrangement, and report an unexpected additional ...

DTX3L Inhibits the EMT, Metastasis, and Stem‐Like Features of Gastric Cancer Through Promoting GSK‐3β Dependent SNAI1 Decay

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research identifies DTX3L as a critical tumor suppressor that inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT), invasion and metastasis in gastric cancer. By functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, DTX3L targets the master EMT regulator SNAI1 for GSK‐3β‐dependent proteasomal degradation.

Prenatal diagnosis and molecular cytogenetic characterization of a small supernumerary marker chromosome derived from chromosome 18 and associated with a reciprocal translocation involving chromosomes 17 and 18

open access: yes, 2012
[[abstract]]"Objective Prenatal diagnosis of small supernumerary marker chromosomes (sSMC) gives rise to difficulties in genetic counseling, and requires molecular cytogenetic technologies such as spectral karyotyping, fluorescence in situ hybridization,

Agronomic effects of a reciprocal translocation in a widely grown Spanish barley variety [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A large spontaneous reciprocal translocation is present in a widely grown Spanish barley cv. ‘Albacete’. It has been hypothesized that high popularity of ‘Albacete’ with farmers, particularly in semi-arid areas where barley is grown under rainfed ...
