Detection and Control of Bubble Entrapment During the Recoil Phase of Droplet Impact

In this paper, we report a method to detect the formation of bubble during the recoil phase of droplet impact on a (super-)hydrophobic surface using a MEMS-based acoustic sensor. We show that by this method, not only the occurrence of bubble entrapment can be detected but also the size of the bubble can be measured from the frequency of the oscillation

Abstract This paper describes a computer system for the setting and control of all the magnets and high voltage supplies of a many element spectrometer using an LSI11/23 running RT11 with CAMAC input/output. Magnetic field strengths are measured by an inexpensive and easily constructed system of Hall probes and temperature transducers.

In this paper, a nonlinear robust attitude control method for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) is proposed based on backstepping. First, the dynamic equations of UAV are established according to its motion model. Second, the momentum theorem and the Bernoulli equation are applied to model the recoil force.
