Mono‐ and Bilayer MoS2 Photodetectors: High‐Performance Broadband AC Readout With Color‐Selective Noise Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Mono‐ and bilayer MoS2 photodetectors enable wavelength‐selective AC photoresponse and optically driven capacitance modulation under visible illumination. Green excitation produces the strongest cumulative capacitive response, consistent with trap‐mediated charge accumulation at mono/bilayer and metal–MoS2 interfaces.

Multimode and Multiband Microstrip Antennas [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This thesis describes original work on the broadband and multiband matching of microstrip patch antennas. Microstrip patch antennas suffer from many constraints on their performance. One major restriction is their narrow impedance bandwidth.

A Dual-mode reconfigurable patch antenna and an extended transmission line model

open access: yes, 2016
A reconfigurable patch antenna is proposed. The antenna design avoids any potentially interfering bias paths for switching; only an external bias-tee is required for biasing.

Micromachined Double‐Membrane Mechanically Tunable Metamaterial for Thermal Infrared Filtering

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
Herein, a mechanically tunable double‐layer plasmonic metamaterial leveraging the extraordinary optical transmission effect observed in subwavelength arrays of openings within thin metal layers is presented. The concept is experimentally validated by integrating the proposed metamaterial structure into an electrostatic parallel‐plate actuator to create

Widely tunable multiband reconfigurable patch antenna for wireless applications

open access: yes, 2010
A design of a low profile reconfigurable microstrip patch antenna is presented. The antenna consists of four sup-patches connected to one feed line, each sub-patch generates a single band.

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.
