Piezoelectric reconfigurable antenna
2013 Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC), 2013A novel approach to tuning an inverted F antenna is investigated by using PZT materials that switch elements into contact using a dc control voltage to reconfigure the IFA structure. This produces a prototype reconfigurable antenna which can be finely tuned over a 9% bandwidth.
