A simple programming technique (MATLAB) has been written for the analysis of a beam reconfigurable antenna array. The technique is based on the calculation of mutual impedance using Induced EMF method. This can be applied to an array of dipoles arranged in various configurations.

International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, 2001
New architectures for microelectromechanical system (MEMS) reconfigurable Vee-antennas and RF switches are presented. The planar antenna structure can be dynamically reconfigured to steer the radiation beam or change the shape of the beam using electrically-controlled microactuators. The radiation patterns and antenna impedance were investigated with a

A Survey on reconfigurable antennas
2008 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2008The study of reconfigurable antennas has made great progress in recent years. Compared with conventional antennas, reconfigurable antennas have more advantages and better prospects. They are lighter in weight, smaller in dimension and lower in price.

Reconfigurable Semiconductor Antenna
2007 9th International Conference - The Experience of Designing and Applications of CAD Systems in Microelectronics, 2007The results of investigation of the semiconductor antenna with electronically reconfigurable aperture has been presented in this paper. The semiconductor antenna means that the antenna utilizes the semiconductor as a substrate, which parameters can be varied. The key element of the reconfigurable antenna is a surface PIN (SPIN) diode whose conductivity

Reconfigurable Vivaldi antenna
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2010AbstractA reconfigurable Vivaldi antenna is presented. It has a capability to operate in a wideband mode (2–8 GHz) and three different sub‐bands (2.5, 5, and 7.5 GHz) by reconfiguring the antenna geometry. The measurement results with ideal switches demonstrate the performances of the proposed designs.

Wirelessly reconfigurable antenna
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015In this paper, we describe a reconfigurable antenna with switches on the antenna elements that are powered wirelessly, by the antenna itself. Control signals for individual switches are part of the antenna transmission. We describe the theory of operation and provide simulation results for a three-element parasitic dipole antenna array with two ...
