Targeting LDHA Palmitoylation Sensitizes GBM to Chemoradiotherapy via Suppressing Palmitic Acid Induced Glycolytic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal GSCs preferentially uptake palmitic acid, thereby promoting ZDHHC12‐mediated LDHA palmitoylation. This modification enhances LDHA enzymatic activity, drives glycolytic reprogramming, and facilitates exosomal LDHA‐mediated TAM regulation.

La médiation, un remède aux ruptures familiales

open access: yesDroit et Cultures, 2017
Recent years has seen the emergence of new family configurations (unions, pacs, lone-parent families, reconstituted families, marriage between persons of same sex...) and hence of new complexities of familial.

Interleukin‐1α Mediates Pancreatic Fibroblast Activation, Regulates Immune Cell Recruitment and Fibrosis in Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During pancreatitis, IL‐1α is released from necrotic acinar cells. In response to IL‐1α, pancreatic fibroblasts release chemokines and cytokines that regulate the recruitment of immune cells to the damaged organ. Furthermore, IL‐1α primes fibroblasts, resulting in increased tissue fibrosis during chronic pancreatitis.

Macrophage OTUD1‐CARD9 axis drives isoproterenol‐induced inflammatory heart remodelling

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine
Background Chronic inflammation contributes to the progression of isoproterenol (ISO)‐induced heart failure (HF). Caspase‐associated recruitment domain (CARD) families are crucial proteins for initiation of inflammation in innate immunity.

Phase Separation of SF3B1 Serves as a Critical Post‐Transcriptional Regulator During Early Mouse Embryogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Phase separation of SF3B1 acts as a key regulatory mechanism for dynamic alternative splicing throughout early mouse embryogenesis. Its absence triggers extensive splicing errors, which induce persistent DNA damage, defective cell cycle progression, and failed cell lineage commitment, and ultimately hinder the normal growth and development of ...

Mutant KRAS‐m6A Epitranscriptome Axis Promotes Colorectal Cancer and is a Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mutant KRAS‐m6A axis promotes colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. Mutant KRAS stabilizes METTL3, leading to increased m6A‐modified BCL9L mRNA and translation of BCL9L protein. BCL9L in turn mediates TGF‐β secretion to induce differentiation of Treg and an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

SIRT7‐Mediated H2BK120 Succinylation Drives Aberrant Mitophagy in Sepsis‐Associated Cognitive Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis triggers hippocampal SIRT7 loss, promoting histone H2B succinylation and activation of the PD‐1/PD‐L1–PINK1 axis. This metabolic‐epigenetic cascade drives aberrant mitophagy and neuronal injury, ultimately causing cognitive deficits. Targeting SIRT7‐dependent succinylation offers a potential strategy to protect brain function during sepsis ...

Single‐Nucleus Atlas of Spinal Sarcopenia Patients Reveals Disruption of Quiescent and Regenerative Satellite Cell Niches in Fatty‐Infiltrated Muscle

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mechanisms of Fatty Infiltration and Muscle Degeneration. Clinical metadata identified intramuscular fat accumulation as an independent driver of muscle mass decline. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of spinal sarcopenia muscle revealed adipogenic reprogramming of fibro‐adipogenic progenitors, satellite‐cell niche disruption, and elevated levels of the ...

Cohesion and adaptability in the reconstituted family

open access: yes, 2014
M.A. (Counselling Psychology) Family life is a universal human experience. The family is generally applIed to be the primary and almost powerful. system that an individual belongs to, as it shapes and determines the course and outcome of the lives of its members (Perkins & Kahan, 1979). Given this assumption, it is evident that the understanding of how

An Unbiased Geometry‐Resolved Membrane Platform for Proteome‐Scale Discovery of Membrane Curvature Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel geometry‐resolved membrane platform provides a seamlessly integrated pipeline for studying curvature‐sensing proteins. By linking shotgun proteomics with quantitative imaging, this approach enables both the unbiased discovery and rigorous validation of novel sensors across the entire curvature range—positive, negative, and zero.
