In a series of 251 asymptomatic attendees at a genitourinary medicine clinic, Mycoplasma genitalium was detected in 4.38% (11/251). Positivity was concentrated in those aged ≤ 30 years (7.14%; 10/140), supporting targeted screening, at least in younger clinic populations.
