Substitutability in Recreational Fishing
Human Dimensions of Wildlife, 2004The authors wanted to know the extent to which anglers were willing to make substitution decisions when constrained, and identify explanatory variables for substitution decisions. Anglers were asked if there were other outdoor recreation activities that would provide them with the same satisfaction and enjoyment they received from fishing.

Impacts of recreational motorboats on fishes: A review
Marine Pollution Bulletin, 2014A considerable amount of research has been conducted on the impacts of recreational boating activities on fishes but little or no synthesis of the information has been undertaken. This review shows that motor boats impact on the biology and ecology of fishes but the effects vary according to the species and even particular size classes.
