Ammonium Salts as Curing Agents to Obtain Ionic Epoxy Resins With a Thermoplastic‐to‐Thermoset Transition

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ionic epoxy networks are prepared using ammonium salts as hardeners, leading to a two‐stage curing process with a thermoplastic‐like intermediate. This uncommon behavior enables extrusion and fabrication of thermoplastic prepregs that can be cured into thermoset composites.

One‐Dimensional Materials Supported in Two‐Dimensional Van der Waals Metal–Organic Frameworks with Optical Anisotropy Switching via Twist‐Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

On the calculation of rectangular plates by the variation method

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2016
The article presents the calculation of rectangular plates by a variational method. For considered rectangular plate the research was conducted by the equilibrium conditions of the elementary strip isolated from the plate, by the method that was used in

Vibration Analysis of Laminated Composite Plates Carrying Rotating Circular Mass [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Design and Manufacturing Technology, 2014
In this paper, the free vibration response of a laminated composite rectangularplate supporting a rotating circular patch mass is studied. The two variable refined platetheory that employs only two unknown functions as against three in the case of ...

Evidence for Itinerant Ferromagnetic Flat Bands Producing Large Transverse Responses

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Itinerant ferromagnetic flat bands are demonstrated in GdCo5 with a high Curie temperature of 940K, a stacked honeycomb–kagome lattice, through angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy and magneto‐thermoelectric measurements. These topological flat bands generate large Berry curvaturte, producing gigantic anomalous Nernst effect with record‐high ...

Measuring the Hall Effect in Hysteretic Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The authors highlight common pitfalls in measuring the Hall effect: in hysteretic magnets, improper data processing can create signals that look exotic but are not real. This Perspective explains the origin of these artifacts and presents practical measurement strategies that help researchers identify reliable Hall responses in complex magnetic ...

Semi-Analytical Solution Based on Strip Method for Buckling and Vibration of Isotropic Plate

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The present paper achieves a semianalytical solution for the buckling and vibration of isotropic rectangular plates. Two opposite edges of plate are simply supported and others are either free, simply supported, or clamped restrained against rotation ...

Weak In‐Plane Ferromagnetism and Electronic Nematicity in the Distorted Triple‐Q Magnetic Phase of Co1/3TaS2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Co1/3TaS2${\rm Co}_{1/3}{\rm TaS}_{2}$ hosts a triple‐Q noncoplanar antiferromagnetic state with coexisting Z3${\rm Z}_3$ electronic nematicity. We report rotational hysteresis observed in both magnetoresistance and magnetic torque, revealing strongly pinned in‐plane weak ferromagnetic moments in the triple‐Q phase and the magnetism‐driven nature of ...

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

On the calculation of plates by the series representation of the deflection function

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2016
In the article calculations of rectangular plates by the series representation of the deflection function are presented. For the considered rectangular plate the investigation was determined by finding the minimum of the potential energy of the plate by
