Multifunctional Adhesive Hydrogel for Rapid Cardiac Hemostasis and Antibacterial Protection

A multifunctional polyacrylamide/gelatin/tannic acid hydrogel (PGT) is presented for rapid cardiac hemostasis under wet, dynamic conditions. Surface tannic acid coating enables instantaneous wet adhesion, accelerates coagulation, and confers antibacterial activity within a single platform.

Programmable Variable‐Stiffness Multilayer Elastomer Composites With High‐Aspect‐Ratio Low‐Melting‐Point Alloy Inclusions

High‐aspect‐ratio low‐melting‐point alloy inclusions are embedded within multilayer silicone laminates to create thermally programmable stiffness.
