Natural frequency of F.G. rectangular plate by shear deformation theory [PDF]
Natural frequency of functionally graded (F.G.) rectangular plate is carried out by using second-order shear deformation theory (SSDT). The material properties of functionally graded rectangular plates, except the Poisson's ratio, are assumed to vary ...

Semi-Analytical Solution Based on Strip Method for Buckling and Vibration of Isotropic Plate
The present paper achieves a semianalytical solution for the buckling and vibration of isotropic rectangular plates. Two opposite edges of plate are simply supported and others are either free, simply supported, or clamped restrained against rotation ...

Transient vibration analysis of a completely free plate using modes obtained by Gorman's superposition method [PDF]
This paper shows that the transient response of a plate undergoing flexural vibration can be calculated accurately and efficiently using the natural frequencies and modes obtained from the superposition method.

Buckling of Rectangular Plates under Nonlinear Creep
Introduction. The task of analyzing the stability of plates and shells under creep conditions is critical for structural elements made of materials with the property of aging, which are under the action of long-term loads, since the loss of stability can

Large amplitude vibrations and damage detection of rectangular plates [PDF]
In this work, geometrically nonlinear vibrations of fully clamped rectangular plates are used to study the sensitivity of some nonlinear vibration response parameters to the presence of damage.

Observability of rectangular membranes and plates on small sets
Since the works of Haraux and Jaffard we know that rectangular plates may be observed by subregions not satisfying the geometrical control condition. We improve these results by observing only on an arbitrarily short segment inside the domain.

Natural convective heat transfer from downward-facing, heated rectangular plates to air has been investigated experimentally. Main concerns were directed to the influence of aspect ratios on the heat transfer from the plates.

The design of a system of adjustable superconducting plates for balancing a gradiometer [PDF]
The gradiometer of a SQUID-system for measuring very small biomagnetic signals should be made as insensitive as possible to the much larger uniform background fields.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
