Volume average demagnetizing tensor of rectangular prisms
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1998An exact analytic formula is presented for the magnetostatic field produced by a three-dimensional array of uniformly magnetized rectangular prisms. It is derived from the volume integration of a point-function demagnetizing tensor. The values of the point-function demagnetizing tensor at the centers of rectangular prisms of different aspect-ratios are

E-characteristic polynomials of real rectangular tensor
Transactions of Tianjin University, 2014By the resultant theory, the E-characteristic polynomial of a real rectangular tensor is defined. It is proved that an E-singular value of a real rectangular tensor is always a root of the E-characteristic polynomial. The definition of the regularity of square tensors is generalized to the rectangular tensors, and in the regular case, a root of the ...

Tensor permittivity reconstruction of two-sectional diaphragm in a rectangular waveguide
Proceedings of the International Conference Days on Diffraction 2014, 2014In this paper we consider tensor permittivity determination of two-sectional diaphragm in a rectangular waveguide. This study employs the technique developed in [1]-[3] and deals with tensor permittivity reconstruction of layered materials in the form of diaphragms (sections) in a waveguide of rectangular cross section from the transmission coefficient.

Tensor permittivity reconstruction of multi-sectional diaphragm in a rectangular waveguide
2016 International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA), 2016This work is devoted to the development of a numerical-analytical method for solving the inverse problem of reconstructing tensor permittivity of a multi-sectional diaphragm in a rectangular waveguide. Numerical results are presented that confirm the efficiency of the proposed technique.

Abstract A FORTRAN program is described that calculates the gravitational field and the gravity gradient tensor resulting from a system of right rectangular prisms which can be ordered into a threedimensional (3-D) model. The gravitational field and gravity gradient tensors can be calculated on a grid on or above the model's surface. The algorithm is

A rubber sheet manufactured by the rolling process strongly shows an anisotropic property, which is caused by carbon particles or carbon fibers aligned along the rolling direction. The measurement of the complex permittivity tensor in the rubber sheet is studied by a standing-wave method in a rectangular waveguide.
