Attenuation of a shielded rectangular dielectric rod waveguide [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The attenuation coefficient of a rectangular dielectric line enclosed by a rectangular shield is obtained by the use of a rigorous mode matching method to calculate the required mode field intensity.

THE KEY ALGORITHM OF A MODE-MATCHING TECHNIQUE FOR THE ANALYSIS OF RESONANCE POSTS, TEE, TURNSTILE AND OTHER TYPES OF MULTIPORT JUNCTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesРадиофизика и электроника, 2016
While designing waveguide junctions, one of the actual tasks is the development of a mode-matching technique for calculating heterogeneities given in different coordinate systems.

Design of a Ku-Band High-Purity Transducer for the TM01 Circular Waveguide Mode by Means of T-Type Junctions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A new mode transducer for converting the TE10 rectangular waveguide mode to the TM01 circular waveguide mode is presented. The novel topology is based on two T-type junctions with in-phase excitation at their input rectangular ports.

Particular aspects of designing longitudinal-coaxial waveguide-microstrip connectors

open access: yesTekhnologiya i Konstruirovanie v Elektronnoi Apparature, 2022
The authors justify the use of combined longitudinal-coaxial connectors - waveguide-coaxial or waveguide-microstrip type - in new modern antenna-feeder microwave paths.

AN OPEN RESONATOR LOADED WITH A RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE SECTION

open access: yesRadio Physics and Radio Astronomy, 2014
A hemispherical open resonator with a rectangular waveguide section mounted at the center of the open resonator plane mirror is considered. A theoretical analysis has been made to find out that the excitation efficiency of the waveguide wave TE10 excited

Calculation of the wave spectra of shielded waveguides with arbitrary dielectric filling using the modified Galerkin method and the partial domain method

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2020
We consider a method for calculating the natural wave spectra of round and rectangular shielded waveguides with arbitrary dielectric filling, which is a modification of the Galerkin method and based on the representation of the wave fields of the guiding

A new rectangular waveguide to coplanar waveguide transition [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE International Digest on Microwave Symposium, 2002
A novel rectangular-waveguide-to-coplanar-waveguide transition is described. The transition uses a ridge in one of the broad walls of the waveguide and a nonradiating slot in the opposite wall to split and rotate the electromagnetic fields of the rectangular waveguide TE/sub 10/ mode into the coplanar waveguide (CPW) fields.
