NON-NULL CURVES OF TZITZEICA TYPE IN MINKOWSKI 3-SPACE [PDF]

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science, 2014
In this paper, we study non-null curves of Tzitzeica type in Minkowski 3-space E_1^3 . We find a simple link between Tzitzeica curves and Rectifying curves in E_1^3.

Local Thermal Conductivity Patterning in Rotating Lattice Crystals of Anisotropic Sb2S3

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Microscale control of thermal conductivity in Sb2S3 is demonstrated via laser‐induced rotating lattice crystals. Thermal conductivity imaging reveals marked thermal transport anisotropy, with the c axis featuring amorphous‐like transport, whereas in‐plane directions (a, b) exhibit 3.5x and 1.7x larger thermal conductivity.

NR2C in the thalamic reticular nucleus; effects of the NR2C knockout. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
NMDAR antagonists can evoke delta frequency bursting in the nucleus reticularis of the thalamus (nRT). The mechanism of this oscillation was determined; antagonist blocks an NR2C-like conductance that has low Mg block at resting potential and thus can ...

Mechanotransducing Organic Electrochemical Diode for Crosstalk‐Inhibited Artificial Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach is presented to a stretchable mechanotransducing diode that unifies rectification and tactile‐sensing functionality. This approach enables to fabricate the diode that maintains a large rectification ratio (5 × 102) at a high operational frequency (100 Hz).
