CFD Analysis of the Performance of a Double Decker Turbine for Wave Energy Conversion
The Double Decker Turbine (DDT) is a recent design introduced for oscillating water column (OWC) devices. Its major contribution is the combination of two typical solutions in just one prototype: a self-rectifying performance, to deal with the ...

Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are promising scintillators but suffer from reabsorption losses and limited compatibility with high‐Z additives. Hybridization of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with PbBr2‐passivated HfO2 nanoparticle sensitizers, achieved during or after synthesis, produces stable composites with maintained optical quality, improved ...

The Rectifying Developable and Rectifying Gaussian Surface of Curves in Pseudo-Galilean Geometry
Abstract In this paper, we give the classification of the singularities of pseudo- Galilean spherical Darboux image, rectifying Gaussian surface and the rectifying developable of curve in pseudo-Galilean space. We also establish the relationships between the singularities and geometric invariants of curves which are deeply related to its order of ...

Viscoelasticity‐driven instabilities are harnessed to create tunable, periodic textures in 3D‐printed liquid crystalline polymers. This study illustrates how processing parameters control these spontaneous meso‐scale patterns. These unique structural architectures unlock new possibilities for functional devices, ranging from photonic components to ...

A non-Newtonian approach in differential geometry of curves: multiplicative rectifying curves
In this paper, we study the rectifying curves in multiplicative Euclidean space of dimension 3, i.e., those curves for which the position vector always lies in its rectifying plane. Since the definition of rectifying curve is affine and not metric, we are directly able to perform multiplicative differential-geometric concepts to investigate such curves.

This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Hydrogen sulphide regulates inward-rectifying K+ channels in conjunction with stomatal closure [PDF]
Hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is the third biological gasotransmitter and, in animals, affects many physiological processes by modulating ion channels. H2S has been reported to protect plants from oxidative stress in diverse physiological responses. H2S closes
