Muscle elasticity variations in assessing age‐related changes in adults – A systematic review

This systematic review suggests that muscle stiffness, measured by shear wave elastography, tends to decrease or remain unchanged with age in a relaxed state, to increase during passive stretching, and to decrease with contraction.
