Averaged recurrence quantification analysis
AbstractRecurrence quantification analysis (RQA) is a well established method of nonlinear data analysis. In this work, we present a new strategy for an almost parameter-free RQA. The approach finally omits the choice of the threshold parameter by calculating the RQA measures for a range of thresholds (in fact recurrence rates).

Recurrence quantification analysis of dynamic brain networks [PDF]
Abstract Evidence suggests that brain network dynamics are a key determinant of brain function and dysfunction. Here we propose a new framework to assess the dynamics of brain networks based on recurrence analysis. Our framework uses recurrence plots and recurrence quantification analysis to characterize dynamic networks.

Time-delay stability (TDS) analysis is a method for quantifying interactions in multivariate systems by identifying stable temporal relationships in time series data [1]. This method has been used to create network representations of complex systems.

Recurrence Quantification Analysis of Crowd Sound Dynamics
AbstractWhen multiple individuals interact in a conversation or as part of a large crowd, emergent structures and dynamics arise that are behavioral properties of the interacting group rather than of any individual member of that group. Recent work using traditional signal processing techniques and machine learning has demonstrated that global acoustic

Recurrence quantification analysis of eye movements [PDF]
Recurrence quantification analysis (RQA) has been successfully used for describing dynamic systems that are too complex to be characterized adequately by standard methods in time series analysis. More recently, RQA has been used for analyzing the coordination of gaze patterns between cooperating individuals.

Parcellation of the human amygdala using recurrence quantification analysis
Several previous attempts have been made to divide the human amygdala into smaller subregions based on the unique functional properties of the subregions.
