Assessment of the Dynamical Behaviour of Hydrogen Combustors With Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA)

Volume 2: Ceramics and Ceramic Composites; Coal, Biomass, Hydrogen, and Alternative Fuels, 2023
Abstract Hydrogen has immense potential as a future energy vector for power and propulsion applications. However there are several challenges, including flame stability, flashback and emissions, that impede its widespread use in modern energy systems.

Detecting BGP instability using Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA)

2015 IEEE 34th International Performance Computing and Communications Conference (IPCCC), 2015
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is the default Internet routing protocol that manages connectivity among Autonomous Systems (ASes). Although BGP disruptions are rare, when they occur the consequences can be very damaging. Consequently there has been considerable effort aimed at understanding what is normal and abnormal BGP traffic and, in so doing ...

Application of Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA) in Biosequence Pattern Recognition

Communications in Computer and Information Science, 2011
Recurrence Quantitative Analysis is a relatively new pattern recognition tool well suited for short, non-linear and non stationary systems. It is designed to detect recurrence patterns that are expressed as a set of Recurrence Quantification variables.

Assessment of recurrence quantification analysis (RQA) of EEG for development of a novel drowsiness detection system

Biomedical Engineering Letters, 2016
In this paper, the aim is to detect drowsiness using one of the well-known nonlinear signal analysis methods known as Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA). We want to show that by assuming brain as a chaotic system, the number of recurrences in the phase space of this system will increase during drowsiness state. Determinism (DET) feature extracted

Cell Lines Molecular Classification by FT-IR Spectroscopy Using the Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA) Technique

2019 SBFoton International Optics and Photonics Conference (SBFoton IOPC), 2019
In this work, we verified how Recurrence quantification analysis (RQA) can help and improve the analysis of profiles and patterns in the cell lines spectra obtained by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) vibration spectroscopy. The results show that the recursive pattern differs among the MCF7, MDA-MD-231 and BT-474 cell lines.
