Combining melting curve analysis enhances the multiplexing capability of digital PCR. Here, we developed a 14‐plex assay to simultaneously measure single nucleotide mutations and amplifications of KRAS and GNAS, which are common driver genes in pancreatic cancer precursors. This assay accurately quantified variant allele frequencies in clinical samples

Sequences of twice-iterated Δw-Gould–Hopper Appell polynomials
In this paper, we introduce general sequence of twice-iterated [Formula: see text]-(degenerate) Gould–Hopper Appell polynomials (TI-DGHAP) via discrete [Formula: see text]-Gould–Hopper Appell convolution. We obtain some of their characteristic properties

Exploration of heterogeneity and recurrence signatures in hepatocellular carcinoma
This study leveraged public datasets and integrative bioinformatic analysis to dissect malignant cell heterogeneity between relapsed and primary HCC, focusing on intercellular communication, differentiation status, metabolic activity, and transcriptomic profiles.

Recurrence of Products of Linear Recursive Functions [PDF]
We study the recurrence of the product of n functions, each of which satisfies the same recurrence relation.

Integrating ancestry, differential methylation analysis, and machine learning, we identified robust epigenetic signature genes (ESGs) and Core‐ESGs in Black and White women with endometrial cancer. Core‐ESGs (namely APOBEC1 and PLEKHG5) methylation levels were significantly associated with survival, with tumors from high African ancestry (THA) showing ...

We show that a Fuchsian differential equation having five regular singular points admits solutions in terms of a single generalized hypergeometric function for infinitely many particular choices of equation parameters.

On the integral values of a curious recurrence [PDF]
We discuss a problem initially thought for the Mathematical Olympiad but which has several interpretations. The recurrence sequences involved in this problem may be generalized to recurrence sequences related to a much larger set of diophantine equations.

Recurrence relations for the super-Halley method
In this paper we give sufficient conditions in order to assure the convergence of the super-Halley method in Banach spaces. We use a system of recurrence relations analogous to those given in the classical Newton-Kantorovich theorem, or those given for Chebyshev and Halley methods by different authors. © 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

On a family of recurrences that includes the Fibonacci and the Narayana recurrences [PDF]
We survey and prove properties a family of recurrences bears in relation to integer representations, compositions, the Pascal triangle, sums of digits, Nim games and Beatty sequences.
