Recurrent Novae — A Review [PDF]
In recent years, recurrent nova eruptions are often observed very intensely in wide range of wavelengths from radio to optical to X-rays. Here I present selected highlights from recent multi-wavelength observations. The enigma of T Pyx is at the heart of

Gamma rays from nebulae around recurrent novae [PDF]
Novae were discovered to emit transient gamma rays during the period of several days to a few weeks after initial explosion, indicating presence of acceleration processes of particles in their expanding shells. In the case of recurrent novae, electrons can be in principle accelerated in the nova shells for the whole recurrence period of nova producing ...

Association between Recurrent Novae and Nova Super-Remnants [PDF]
Nova super-remnants (NSRs) are substantially extended structures (up to ~130 parsecs across) encompassing recurrent novae. NSRs grow as a result of frequent nova eruptions transporting vast quantities of the locally surrounding interstellar medium away from the binary system over many millennia into a thin high-density shell, as the central white dwarf

AbstractThermonuclear models of recurrent novae demand white dwarf accretors near the Chandrasekhar mass. In this case, the known recurrent novae should possess classical counterparts bearing the same structural parameters and space distribution, save for having only marginally less massive white dwarfs.

AbstractAn examination of the existing observational material on all the objects classified as recurrent novae, reveals that only T Pyx, U Sco, T CrB and RS Oph deserve such a classification. We review the properties of outbursts powered by thermonuclear runaways and accretion events and determine their observational consequences.

The reported positions of 964 suspected nova eruptions in M31 recorded through the end of calendar year 2013 have been compared in order to identify recurrent nova candidates. To pass the initial screen and qualify as a recurrent nova candidate two or more eruptions were required to be coincident within 0.1', although this criterion was relaxed to 0.15'

IDENTIFYING AND QUANTIFYING RECURRENT NOVAE MASQUERADING AS CLASSICAL NOVAE [PDF]
Recurrent novae (RNe) are cataclysmic variables with two or more nova eruptions within a century. Classical novae (CNe) are similar systems with only one such eruption. Many of the so-called 'CNe' are actually RNe for which only one eruption has been discovered.

Structural Diversity and Bioactivities of Peptaibol Compounds From the Longibrachiatum Clade of the Filamentous Fungal Genus Trichoderma [PDF]
This study examined the structural diversity and bioactivity of peptaibol compounds produced by species from the phylogenetically separated Longibrachiatum Clade of the filamentous fungal genus Trichoderma, which contains several biotechnologically ...

Multi-wavelength spectroscopic study of shock-driven phenomena in explosive outbursts in symbiotic-like recurrent novae with an emphasis on RS Ophiuchi [PDF]
To detail the development of RS Ophiuchi and the other Galactic Symbiotic-like Recurrent Novae throughout their outburst and quiescence, with a particular emphasis on the propagation of the shock wave during the outburst of the binaries.
