Theory of Mind Development in Adolescence and Early Adulthood: The Growing Complexity of Recursive Thinking Ability

open access: yesEurope's Journal of Psychology, 2015
This study explores the development of theory of mind, operationalized as recursive thinking ability, from adolescence to early adulthood (N = 110; young adolescents = 47; adolescents = 43; young adults = 20).

Experience‐Dependent Reorganization of Hippocampal CA3 Neuronal Ensembles Associates With Memory Generalization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mice can transfer the learned rule of spatial working memory to guide similar but novel tasks. Hippocampal CA3 populational activity dynamically reorganize during memory generalization, shifting from task‐specific to generalized coding over testing days. Sparse yet redundant neural representations of CA3 enable rule transfer and cognitive map formation,

Photo‐Gated Corona Microfluidics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photo‐gated corona microfluidics decouples optical programming from electric‐field actuation to enable reconfigurable manipulation on open, electrode‐pattern‐free surfaces. Near‐infrared irradiation locally melts paraffin, creating a reversible charge‐relaxation pathway that reconstructs the electric field.

BraMARS: An Interpretable Histopathology‐Driven Deep Learning Model for Brain Metastasis Risk Stratification in Surgically Resected Limited‐Stage SCLC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents BraMARS, an explainable deep learning model that estimates future brain metastasis risk in surgically resected limited‐stage small‐cell lung cancer using routine H&E‐stained whole‐slide images. By linking model‐attributed spatial histopathology with clinical outcomes and proteomic programs, BraMARS provides a biologically ...

Updatable Closed‐Form Evaluation of Arbitrarily Complex Multiport Network Connections

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The inverse design of electrically large wave devices often uses reduced‐order multiport models with discrete optimization, requiring many evaluations of complex interconnections between subsystems that differ only in a few blocks. This paper introduces a closed‐form framework enabling efficient Woodbury low‐rank updates of related, previous ...

Topological recursion in the Ramond sector

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We investigate supereigenvalue models in the Ramond sector and their recursive structure. We prove that the free energy truncates at quadratic order in Grassmann coupling constants, and consider super loop equations of the models with the assumption that

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.

In‐Sensor Computing by Soft Threshold Logic Gates Under Different Humidity Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Soft nanocomposite materials, based on gold cluster‐assembled thin films implanted in polydimethylsiloxane substrate, can perform reliable processing in ambient environmental conditions. Humidity influences the resistive switching and computational capabilities of the nanocomposites, that can be used as multifunctional material combining sensing ...

Recursive quantum eigenvalue and singular-value transformation: Analytic construction of matrix sign function by Newton iteration

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Quantum eigenvalue transformation (QET) and its generalization, quantum singular value transformation (QSVT), are versatile quantum algorithms that allow us to apply broad matrix functions to quantum states, which cover many significant quantum ...
