RECURSIVE ALGORITHM FOR IDENTIFICATION OF DYNAMIC PROCESSES

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1982
Abstract An extension of the Instrumental Variable recursive algorithm performing the identification of the stochastic parameters of an ARMA model is presented. A comparative analysis with M.L. and R.L.S. methods is performed via simulation, computing time and memory requeriments are also described.

Recursive identification of hysteresis in smart materials

Proceedings of the 2004 American Control Conference, 2004
This paper studies recursive identification of hysteresis in smart materials. A Preisach operator with a piece-wise uniform density function is used to model the hysteresis. Persistent excitation conditions for parameter convergence are discussed in terms of the input to the Preisach operator.

Recursive Identification of Wiener--Hammerstein Systems

SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2012
Identification of the Wiener--Hammerstein system consisting of a linear subsystem in a cascade with a static nonlinearity $f(\cdot)$ followed by another linear subsystem with internal noises is con...

Recursive system identification

Acta Mathematica Scientia, 2009
Abstract Most of existing methods in system identification with possible exception of those for linear systems are off-line in nature, and hence are nonrecursive. This paper demonstrates the recent progress in recursive system identification. The recursive identification algorithms are presented not only for linear systems (multivariate ARMAX systems)

Recursive data mining for role identification

Proceedings of the 5th international conference on Soft computing as transdisciplinary science and technology - CSTST '08, 2008
We present a text mining approach that enables an extension of a standard authorship assessment problem (the problem in which an author of a text needs to be established) to role identification in communications within some Internet community. More precisely, we want to recognize a group of authors communicating in a specific role within such a ...

Recursive Identification for MIMO Hammerstein Systems

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2011
This technical note considers the recursive identification for the multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) Hammerstein system with internal noise and observation noise and with linear part being an ARX system. With the help of the generalized Yule-Walker equation and the correlations of system signals, the recursive algorithms are proposed for estimating ...

Recursive Identification for Hammerstein System with ARX Subsystem

2006 Chinese Control Conference, 2006
Identification is considered for the Hammerstein system consisting of a static nonlinear block f(·) followed by an ARX subsystem, when the system output is observed with noise. No assumption is made on the structure of f(·). Recursive estimates are given for coefficients of the ARX subsystem and for the value of f(u) at any u.

Recursive identification of induction motor parameters

Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory, 2004
Abstract The use of linear parameter estimation techniques to determine the rotor resistance, self-inductance of the rotor winding, as well as the stator leakage inductance of a three-phase induction machine is investigated in this paper. In order to obtain results with maximum accuracy, some specific procedures to reduce the effect of the operating ...
