The widely linear quaternion recursive least squares filter

2010 2nd International Workshop on Cognitive Information Processing, 2010
A quaternion valued recursive least squares algorithm for the processing of the generality of quaternion valued random processes (both circular and noncircular) is introduced. This is achieved by extending the widely linear model from the complex domain, and accounting for the specific properties of quaternion algebra.

Tensor Recursive Least Squares Filters for Multichannel Interrelational Signals

IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks, 2021
It is well known that recursive least squares (RLS) filter is a prevalent adaptive filter that recursively updates the filter-coefficients to minimize a weighted cost function related to an input signal. Conventionally, such an input signal is a sequence of scaler numbers.

Recursive Weighted Robust Least Squares Filter for Frequency Estimation

2006 SICE-ICASE International Joint Conference, 2006
A novel weighted robust least squares estimation approach to the design of recursive frequency estimator for single tone sinusoid is presented. The frequency estimation problem is reformulated as the identification of slowly varying parameters subject to a linear time-varying system which contains the stochastic parametric uncertainties in the ...
