Set-membership recursive least-squares adaptive filtering algorithm
2012 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2012A new set-membership adaptive filtering algorithm is developed based on the exponentially-weighted RLS algorithm with a time-varying forgetting factor that is optimized at each iteration by imposing a bounded-magnitude constraint on the a posteriori filter output error.

Numerically stable fast transversal filters for recursive least squares adaptive filtering
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1991A solution is proposed to the long-standing problem of the numerical instability of fast recursive least squares transversal filter (FTF) algorithms with exponential weighting, an important class of algorithms for adaptive filtering. A framework for the analysis of the error propagation in FTF algorithms is first developed; within this framework, it is

Optimized Battery Modeling Using Adaptive Forgetting Factor in Recursive Least Squares Algorithm
2025 4th OPJU International Technology Conference (OTCON) on Smart Computing for Innovation and Advancement in Industry 5.0Pursuant to the more critical modelling criteria for accuracy, setup effort, computationally complexities, and simplicity of adoption, the Equivalent Circuit Model (ECM) is the recommended option for online applications.

Recursive allpass filter design using least-squares techniques
Proceedings of IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems - ISCAS '94, 2002Three methods for the design of recursive allpass filters are presented. In one of these methods, a least-squares error based on the difference between the desired and actual frequency responses is formulated in a quadratic form. In the other methods, a least-squares error based on the difference between the desired and actual phase responses is ...

Efficient recursive least-squares adaptive quadratic filters
IEEE International Conference on Systems Engineering, 1989A recursive least-squares algorithm for the quadratic filter is described which has satisfactory convergence for larger filter lengths while maintaining low computational requirements. A similar least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm is also described. The respective algorithms are based on the so-called normalized recursive least-squares and normalized LMS

Numerically stable fast recursive least-squares transversal filters
ICASSP-88., International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2003The problem of numerical stability of fast recursive least-squares transversal filter (FTF) algorithms is addressed. The prewindowing case with exponential weighting is considered. A framework for the analysis of the error propagation in these algorithms is developed.
