Regularized fast recursive least squares algorithms for adaptive filtering
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 1991Fast recursive least squares (FRLS) algorithms are developed by using factorization techniques which represent an alternative way to the geometrical projections approach or the matrix-partitioning-based derivations. The estimation problem is formulated within a regularization approach, and priors are used to achieve a regularized solution which ...

Wireless accelerometer sensor data filtering using Recursive Least Squares adaptive filter
2013 IEEE Eighth International Conference on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing, 2013One of the applications of wireless accelerometer sensors is to monitor the human body motion and orientation. Such applications range from medical observations, diagnostics and fall detection to game console and entertainment. In typical wireless accelerometer sensors the received data is affected by the nonlinear environmental noises leading to a ...

Optimal Recursive Least-Squares Filtering of GPS Pseudorange Measurements
2008Code pseudorange measurement noise is one of the major error sources in Precise Point Positioning. A recursive least-squares solution with proper functional and stochastic modelling would help to exploit in addition the ultra high precision of the carrier phase measurement.

Stabilization of fast recursive least-squares transversal filters for adaptive filtering
ICASSP '87. IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2005This paper investigates the numerical stability of the well-known Fast Transversal Filters algorithms. Two different modes of divergence are indicated with an effort to mathematically explain the reason of the appearance of each mode. An original stabilization method is thus introduced.
