ABSTRACT Subgroups are dynamic entities evolving constantly in response to changing contexts and time. Although scholars from both the attribute and the network views have acknowledged that subgroups are inherently complex and fluid, research in these traditions has remained bifurcated, with limited efforts to integrate the two perspectives to more ...

Introducing the Concept of Activation and Blocking of Rules in the General Framework for Regulated Rewriting in Sequential Grammars [PDF]
We introduce new possibilities to control the application of rules based on the preceding application of rules which can be de ned for a general model of sequential grammars and we show some similarities to other control mechanisms as graph-controlled

The Bazaar as a Model for Knowledge Work
ABSTRACT This paper presents fieldwork that extends existing metaphors of knowledge work as a process shaped by hierarchical or market forces. On non-recursive trade-offs between finite-turn pushdown automata [PDF]
It is shown that between one-turn pushdown automata (1-turn PDAs) and deterministic finite automata (DFAs) there will be savings concerning the size of description not bounded by any recursive function, so-called non-recursive tradeoffs.

Recursively enumerable languages and van Wijngaarden grammars
AbstractWe show that each re language can be generated by a minimal deterministic linear contextfree based strict normal VW-grammar. We also prove that each re language can be generated by a strict normal VW-grammar with at most one metanotion denoting a non-regular contextfree language.

This study identified shared molecular alterations between lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and ischemic stroke (IS) through integrative transcriptomic analysis of TCGA‐LUAD and GSE146882 datasets, revealing a four‐gene diagnostic signature (LDHA, NME4, SLC25A39, and SLC7A5) with high accuracy across both diseases. Among these, LDHA was further identified as
