Recycling and Recycled Paper

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1992
Mention using recycled paper and many people think of tall trees in pristine forests being saved from a lumberjack's saw. While it is true that when paper is recycled fewer trees need to be cut, that is not the real issue. Trees used for making paper are a renewable resource. They are planted and harvested much like any other crop.

Recycled

Cladistics, 1998

Recycled soundscapes

Proceedings of the 5th conference on Designing interactive systems: processes, practices, methods, and techniques, 2004
An interactive system collects noise from a public place and transforms it into content for a public orchestration: the noise is split in specific sounds which are recomposed through sonic interface in a new soundscape. The SoundCam is the most visible part of the Recycling Soundscapes system.
