Material Recycling & Minimization of Construction Waste
According to the rapid natural growth in Gaza strip, construction wastes increased up to 25% of total quantity of solid wastes. In addition, construction wastes are costly. For example, in the United States, wages of disposed construction wastes sector costs 50,000 $ per 100 housing units.

Adaptive Cu Reconstruction in Heterostructure Drives High‐Rate Nitrate‐to‐Ammonia Conversion
An adaptively reconstructed Cu/CoOX heterojunction, featuring a surface‐localized, hydroxyl‐rich oxidized Cu species, forms in situ from a CuO/CoOX (Co1Cu9OX) pre‐catalyst during electrochemical nitrate reduction. The self‐adaptive reconstruction and the incorporation of heterostructure regulate nitrogen‐containing intermediate adsorption and *H supply,

A Molten Salt Extraction Method for Palladium Recovery via the CaPd2 Intermetallic Compound
A designed Ca → CaPd2 → Pd pathway enables acid–free palladium recovery in molten salt. Calcium alloying forms anionic CaPd2, which is selectively oxidized by iodine from CaI2 to yield high–purity metallic Pd. ABSTRACT To address palladium scarcity and the low efficiency of conventional recovery processes, this work presents a molten–salt extraction ...

Overcoming Interfacial Hurdles in Solid‐State Aluminum Batteries for Safe and Energy‐Dense Storage
Solid‐state aluminum batteries (SSABs) promise high energy density and intrinsic safety but face severe solid–solid interfacial challenges. This review reveals the three core hurdles—anode passivation, cathode contact loss, and electrolyte grain boundary resistance and discusses strategies including artificial interphases, alloying, and composite ...
