Effective all-fiber pump recycler for kilowatt fiber lasers
We report an effective pump recycler for industrial kilowatt fiber lasers. The pump recycler is a ( 6 + 1 ) × 1 tapered fiber bundle, with signal ports of Ge-doped fiber (GDF) with core/cladding diameters of 20/400 µm and pump fiber ports (PFPs) with core/cladding diameters of 135/155 µm.

Recycled Tire Fibers as Reinforcement for Recycled Polyethylene
Recycled tire fibers (RTF) are currently one of the most abundant waste not being recovered due to several processing hurdles and the presence of high amounts of residual ground rubber particles (GR). Therefore, this study proposes a simple approach to separate most of rubber particles from fibers and to determine their rubber content using ...

Recycled Fibers for Sustainable Hybrid Fiber Cement Based Material: A Review
Reinforcing fibers have been widely used to improve physical and mechanical properties of cement-based materials. Most fiber reinforced composites (FRC) involve the use of a single type of fiber to improve cement properties, such as strength or ductility.

Fiber association and network formation in PLA/lignocellulosic fiber composites. [PDF]
PLA composites were prepared in an internal mixer with a lignocellulosic fiber having relatively large aspect ratio. Fiber content changed between 0 and 60 vol% and the homogenized material was compression molded to 1 mm thick plates.

Recycling of Reinforced Glass Fibers Waste: Current Status [PDF]
In this paper, a review of the current status and future perspectives for reinforced glass fiber waste is undertaken, as well as an evaluation of the management hierarchy for these end-of-life materials. Waste levels are expected to increase in the coming years, but an improvement of collection routes is still necessary.
