Red ceramic industrial products incorporated with oily wastes

Construction and Building Materials, 2007
Abstract An industrial scale investigation into the effects of oily wastes incorporated into different red ceramic products for building construction was carried out for the first time. The oily wastes were a crude sludge derived from petroleum separation process and its inert treated form.

Preparation of double-layer glass-ceramic/ceramic tile from bauxite tailings and red mud

Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2009
Double-layer glass-ceramic/ceramic tiles made from bauxite tailings and red mud were prepared using a single firing powder processing route. The influence of the preparation method used for the green bodies on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the final products was investigated.

Degradation of Red Ceramic with Incorporated of Petroleum Waste

Materials Science Forum, 2014
The red ceramic pieces Campos-RJ degrade easily when they are in the built environment. With the intention to reduce the degradation in these pieces, was introduced petroleum coke in red ceramic. Petroleum coke is a solid fossil fuel, black in color and about granular form.

Characterization of Granite Waste for Incorporation in Red Ceramic

Materials Science Forum, 2005
This work had as its objective the characterization of a granite powder waste from sawing operations with a view to its incorporation in red ceramic. The granite waste came from the municipal area of Santo Antônio de Pádua, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The characterization was performed in terms of chemical composition, particles size distribution,
