Red ceramic industrial products incorporated with oily wastes
Construction and Building Materials, 2007Abstract An industrial scale investigation into the effects of oily wastes incorporated into different red ceramic products for building construction was carried out for the first time. The oily wastes were a crude sludge derived from petroleum separation process and its inert treated form.

Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 2009Double-layer glass-ceramic/ceramic tiles made from bauxite tailings and red mud were prepared using a single firing powder processing route. The influence of the preparation method used for the green bodies on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the final products was investigated.
