Verification of Hypervelocity Bulge Red Clump Stars [PDF]
We verify candidate hypervelocity red clump stars located in the Galactic bulge that were selected based on the VVV and the Gaia DR2 data by Luna et al. To do so, we analyze data from the OGLE-IV survey: difference images and astrometric time series.

First results for the solar neighborhood of the Asiago Red Clump Survey [PDF]
The Asiago Red Clump Spectroscopic Survey (ARCS) is an ongoing survey that provides atmospheric parameters, distances and space velocities of a well selected sample of Red Clump stars distributed along the celestial equator.

The structure behind the Galactic bar traced by red clump stars in the VVV survey★ [PDF]
Red clump stars are commonly used to map the reddening and morphology of the inner regions of the Milky Way. We use the new photometric catalogues of the VISTA Variables in the V´ıa La´ctea survey to achieve twice the spatial resolution of previous ...

Enhancement of Lithium in Red Clump Stars by Neutrino Magnetic Moments [PDF]
A recent spectroscopic survey has shown that the lithium abundances in low-mass red-clump stars are higher than theoretical prediction. Motivated by their finding, we implemented effects of additional energy losses induced by neutrino magnetic moments on

The Distance to the Galactic Center Derived From Infrared Photometry of Bulge Red Clump Stars [PDF]
On the basis of the near infrared observations of bulge red clump stars near the Galactic center, we have determined the galactocentric distance to be R_0 = 7.52 +- 0.10 (stat) +- 0.35 (sys) kpc.

Discovery of two distinct red clumps in NGC419: a rare snapshot of a cluster at the onset of degeneracy [PDF]
Colour-magnitude diagrams (CMD) of the SMC star cluster NGC419, derived from HST/ACS data, reveal a well-delineated secondary clump located below the classical compact red clump typical of intermediate-age populations.

Red Clump stars in Kepler open cluster NGC 6819 [PDF]
We measure the large frequency separation, Δν, and the frequency of maximum amplitude, νmax, for 10 Red Clump (RC) single member (SM) stars in the Kepler open cluster NGC 6819. We derive luminosities and masses for each individual RC star.

A spectroscopic survey of faint, high-galactic latitude red clump stars. II. The medium resolution sample [PDF]
Aims. The goal of our survey is to provide accurate and multi-epoch radial velocities, atmospheric parameters (Teff, log g and [M/H]), distances and space velocities of faint Red Clump stars. Methods. We recorded high signal-to-noise (S/N >= 200) spectra

Meridional Circulation. I. A Formation Channel for Lithium-rich and Super-lithium-rich Red Clump Stars [PDF]
Current observations indicate that stars with higher rotation rates appear to maintain more surface lithium, and the majority of lithium-rich giants are indeed red clump stars.
