Using nearly 230,000 red clump stars selected from LAMOST and Gaia, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the stellar age–velocity dispersion relations (AVRs) for various disk populations, within 5.0 ≤ R ≤ 15.0 kpc and ∣ Z ∣ ≤ 3.0 kpc.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Li Enrichment in Red Clump Giants: Clues for Past Binary Interaction or Merger Events
To understand the underlying mechanisms of high Li abundances among core He-burning or red clump (RC) giants, we analyzed a sample of 5227 RC giants of mass M ≤ 2 M _⊙ using spectra and asteroseismic data.

ARCS: the Asiago Red Clump Spectroscopic Survey
The Asiago Red Clump Spectroscopic survey derives from high resolution optical spectra accurate multi-epoch radial velocities and atmospheric parameters (T_{eff}, log g, [M/H], V_{rot}sin i, [α/Fe], ξ) for a well selected sample of ˜500 equatorial Red Clump stars belonging to the solar neighborhood.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

The Kinematic and Chemical Properties of the Close-in Planet Host Star 8 UMi
A recent study by Hon et al. reported that a close-in planet around the red clump star, 8 UMi, should have been engulfed during the expansion phase of its parent star’s evolution.

This study shows that copy number variations (CNVs) can be reliably detected in formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded (FFPE) solid cancer samples using ultra‐low‐pass whole‐genome sequencing, provided that key (pre)‐analytical parameters are optimized.
