This diagram illustrates that night shift work disrupts circadian clock genes (like CLOCK, BMAL1) in both humans and mice. This disruption leads to mitochondrial dysfunction (imbalanced fusion/fission proteins) and increased oxidative stress, which is identified as the primary mechanism ultimately causing elevated blood pressure.

Metastasis remains a major challenge in colorectal cancer. Using an in vivo shRNA screening system, this study identifies Homeobox D4 as a key metastasis suppressor. Reduced Homeobox D4 expression is associated with aggressive tumor features. Functional and mechanistic analyses show that it inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition by repressing ...

Red fox optimization algorithm
Expert Systems with Applications, 2021Abstract Fox is very popular in various regions of the Globe, where representatives of this kind can be found in Europe, Asia, North America, and even in some arctic regions. The way this predator lives and hunts is very peculiar. It is active all year round, traversing the lands in hunting both for different domestic and wild animals.

Modern enterprise applications represent an emergent application arena that requires the processing of queries and computations over massive amounts of data. Large-scale, multi-GPU cluster systems potentially present a vehicle for major improvements in throughput and consequently overall performance.

AbstractThe red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the most widely distributed extant canid species, and is present in a broad range of habitats ranging from arctic tundra to deserts to city suburbs. Throughout its range, its general social system encompasses a territorial breeding pair accompanied by up to eight subordinate individuals.

LEPTOSPIROSIS IN RED FOXES IN ONTARIO
Journal of Wildlife Diseases, 1986The role of the red fox (Vulpes vulpes) in the epizootiology of leptospirosis in southwestern Ontario was investigated in 1973-1974. Leptospira interrogans serovar pomona (kennewicki by DNA analysis) was isolated from the kidneys of three of eight foxes tested.

The red fox inhabits much of North America and is common in northern Europe and Russia. In many places, especially the midwestern states, hunting and trapping regulations are based on the number of foxes in the population during a given year in a particular region.

Anal Gland Secretion of the Red Fox
Nature, 1971LITTLE is known of the chemistry of odour in higher animals1–4 in relation to the importance which behavioural studies have ascribed to it5–7. Those chemical studies which have been undertaken have often lacked a concern for the behavioural and ecological implications of odour, although exceptions to this rule are becoming more numerous2,8,9.
