Adjusting Cell‐Surface Interactions Through a Covalent Immobilization of Biomolecules
This review presents an overview of current and emerging immobilization techniques coupled with an in‐depth investigation of the underlying mechanisms governing the activity and stability of covalently immobilized biomolecules. The aim of this study is to serve as a guide for the development of long‐lasting biomedical coatings with versatile biological

Subsurface State Bilayer in Tetragonal Ferroelectric BaTiO3
The subsurface Ba2+disorder, reveals the pairs of O vacancies (VO++$V_O^{ + + }$ s) and small polarons (SPe‐SPe−$SP_e^ - $ s) (Figure a–b), with the charge balance, as the following: Ti3++[VO+++SPe−]pair↔Ti4+${{T}_i}^{3 + } + {{[V_O^{ + + } + SP_e^ - ]}_{pair}} \leftrightarrow T_i^{4 + }$ which is consistent with observed low‐energy electron ...

This study reveals the thermal transport mechanism at the gallium/copper interface from the perspective of phonon/electron transport and bonding strength, and the thermal boundary resistance of both the Ga/Ga2O3/Cu and Ga/CuGa2/Cu structures are first measured at nanoscale by using time‐domain thermoreflectance.

The Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment. Small Amplitude Variable Red Giants in the Magellanic Clouds [PDF]
We present analysis of the large sample of variable red giants from the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds detected during the second phase of the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE-II) and supplemented with OGLE-III photometry. Comparing pulsation properties of detected objects we find that they constitute two groups with clearly distinct ...

A CO2 laser‐assisted solid‐state synthesis of a bimetallic single‐atom catalyst is presented. The resulting material consists of a 3D porous graphene support with iron and cobalt atoms anchored as single atoms. Through electrochemical methods, the material's efficiency is demonstrated in the sensitive and selective determination of nitrite, mimicking ...

Utilizing a novel (Ni81Fe19/Ti)4/Cu/(Ni81Fe19/Ti)4 thin‐film multilayer with low coercive field, low damping and a superior GMI ratio, a compact, low‐noise unbiased FMR‐driven integrated GMI sensor with a superior magnetic noise performance of ≈100 pT/√Hz is first demonstrated, owing to reduced phase noise from well‐defined aligned magnetic domains and
