Double Helical Plasmonic Antennas
Plasmonic double helical antennas funnel circularly polarized light to the nanoscale, offering strong chiroptical interaction and directional light emission. Extending a single helix design tool, this study combines numerical modeling with experimental validation, revealing large, broadband dissymmetry factors in the visible range.

Testing Tidal Theory Using Gaia Binaries: The Red Giant Branch
Tidal interaction is a major ingredient in the theory of binary evolution. Here, we study tidal circularization in binaries with red giant primaries. We compute the tidal evolution for binaries as their primary stars evolve along the red giant branch ...

Biomaterial Strategies for Targeted Intracellular Delivery to Phagocytes
Phagocytes are essential to a functional immune system, and their behavior defines disease outcomes. Engineered particles offer a strategic opportunity to target phagocytes, harnessing inflammatory modulation in disease. By tuning features like size, shape, and surface, these systems can modulate immune responses and improve targeted treatment for a ...

A case of giant condyloma latum in vulvar and perianal areas [PDF]
Condyloma latum is a typical lesion of secondary syphilis, which usually appears in the vicinity of the initial chancre. It is found that treponema pallidum load in condyloma latum is significantly higher than that in other secondary syphilis. We report a

Bright Monocompound Metal Halide Scintillator for Fast Neutron Radiography
Metal halide scintillator, tetraphenylphosphonium manganese bromide (TPP2MnBr4), provides a significant benefit for fast neutron imaging. A fourfold increase in efficiency over traditional zinc sulfide screens is achieved by efficiently utilizing neutron interactions within its homogeneous structure.
