A weakly solvating electrolyte with non‐fluorinated cyclopentyl methyl ether solvent and 1,3‐dioxolane additive is employed in Li‐S batteries, which shows moderate lithium polysulfides solubility and improves the electrode interfacial stability. Therefore, appropriate cathodic kinetics and good anodic stability are both achieved in S/C||Li batteries ...

Plasmonic bismuth nanoparticles loaded BiVO4 photocatalyst is successfully prepared for photocatalytic water oxidation. The in situ loading of the Bi on the BiVO4 allows the formation of the Bi–O–V covalent bridges, which can significantly facilitate the photogenerated charge carrier migration accross Bi and BiVO4 for enhancing photocatalytic ...

Human Schlafen 14 Cleavage of Short Double‐Stranded RNAs Underpins its Antiviral Activity
SLFN14 is associated with human diseases. SLFN14 is found to cleave RNAs containing short duplexes. The cryo‐EM structures of SLFN14 and SLFN14‐hairpin RNA complex reveal that SLFN14 assembles into a ring‐like dimer; two RNase domains form an RNA‐binding groove accommodating a hairpin RNA.
