Ketogenic diet for infantile epileptic spasms
Abstract Approximately half of all cases of Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS) do not respond to vigabatrin and hormonal therapies. There is no clear consensus as to the second‐line therapy for IESS. Ketogenic diet (KD) has emerged as an effective treatment for certain drug‐resistant epilepsies and in many cases of IESS.

Aftasten/Tantear: A sensorial, coalitional wayfinding among Muslim runners
Abstract Muslim recreational runners in Muslim‐minority settings that take up running as their preferred form of leisure indicate that they feel they have to navigate a sense of exclusion when running outdoors. This article explores the process of exploration and sensing in public, represented by the Dutch verb aftasten, to investigate the way Muslim ...

Planned harvesting and processing of marine macroalgae could meet future global food needs and mitigate fuel‐originated carbon dioxide responsible for climate change. Microalgal foods are nutritious and safe. The utilization of macroalgae would avoid environmental problems arising from the release of overgrowing macroalgae caused by heatwaves, which ...

Self‐powered H2O2 production using a Zn–air electrochemical cell employing a polymer blend membrane
Abstract BACKGROUND Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a strong oxidant and a carbon‐free fuel which is synthesized by the costly anthraquinone method, prompting research into highly efficient electrocatalytic processes. RESULTS This study introduces a self‐sustaining Zn–air electrochemical cell with a carbon black cathode and an efficient polymer‐blend ion ...
