Redetermination of the crystal structure of K[BrF4] from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data
Single crystals of K[BrF4], potassium tetrafluoridobromate(III), were grown from a solution of KHF2 in bromine trifluoride. The current report is the first refinement of the crystal structure of K[BrF4] using single-crystal X-ray diffraction data.

Redetermination of the crystal structure of ThI4
Single crystals of ThI4, thorium(IV) tetraiodide, were grown from thorium dioxide and aluminium triiodide. In comparison with the structure model reported previously for this compound [Zalkin et al. (1964). Inorg. Chem.

Redetermination of the crystal structure of the 3:1 urea–benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid co-crystal by powder diffraction data [PDF]
The crystal structure of the 3:1 urea–benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid (trimesic acid) co-crystal, C9H6O6·3CH4N2O, has been redetermined by X-ray powder diffraction data exploiting simulated annealing in direct space followed by Rietveld refinement.

Redetermination and new description of the crystal structure of vanthoffite, Na6Mg(SO4)4
The crystal structure of vanthoffite {hexasodium magnesium tetrakis[sulfate(VI)]}, Na6Mg(SO4)4, was solved in the year 1964 on a synthetic sample [Fischer & Hellner (1964). Acta Cryst. 17, 1613].

Redetermination of the γ-form of tellurium dioxide
The crystal structure of γ-TeO2 was redetermined on the basis of single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The previous structure determination of this modification was based on laboratory powder X-ray diffraction data [Champarnaud-Mesjard et al. (2000). J.

Potassium tetracyanidoaurate(III) monohydrate: a redetermination
The structure of the title metal complex salt, K[Au(CN)4]·H2O, has been redetermined using X-ray diffraction data at 173 K in order to improve the precision. The previous determination was based on neutron diffraction data [Bertinotti & Bertinotti (1970).
