Abstract figure legend Sleep disturbances are common in older adults, highlighting the need for accessible interventions to improve sleep quality. Eighteen older adults per group (balance training and control) were assessed before and after 12 weeks. The balance group increased GABA levels (magnetic resonance spectroscopy) and functional connectivity ...

More π, less Gap: Band Gap Tuning in Hybrid Antimony Halide Charge Transfer Semiconductors
Extending the π‐conjugation of the organic cation from bipyridinium to phenanthrolinium in hybrid antimony chloride charge transfer semiconductors reduces the band gap from 2.6 to 2.1 eV. This demonstrates that modifying the organic cation's π‐system enables band gap tuning in hybrid charge transfer semiconductors.

The crystal structure of anhydrous cerium(III) acetate [Ce(CH3COO)3] is reported. Additionally, the interconversions in the cerium(III) acetate hydrate system were studied by in situ and ex situ PXRD. We report the synthesis and crystal structure of anhydrous cerium(III) acetate [Ce(CH3COO)3] (1) as well as the interconversions to different hydrated ...

Herbaria worldwide hold centuries of plant data that are key to understanding and protecting biodiversity; however, even with increased digital access, differences in plant naming systems make it difficult to compare records. We developed a semi‐automated workflow that standardises species names and organises herbaria records from multiple institutions

Hydride Nitrides: Crystal Structure Redetermination of LiSr2H2N and the Isostructural LiBa2H2N
The quaternary hydride nitrides LiSr2H2N and LiBa2H2N are obtained in a non‐centrosymmetric crystal structure, different from previous reports. Crystal growth of the honey‐ and pale‐yellow compounds and essentially single phase synthesis is successful using alkali metal flux. The resulting fully ordered structures do not account for a structural reason

Re-investigation and correct symmetry of Ca3CoAl4O10
A re-investigation of the crystal structure of tricalcium cobalt(II) tetraaluminate, Ca3CoAl4O10, using single-crystal X-ray diffraction data, revealed orthorhombic (Pbcm) symmetry. The present contribution corrects the results of a previous X-ray powder

Redetermination of poly[di-μ3-iodido-[μ-1,2-trans-(pyridin-4-yl)ethene-κ2N:N′]dicopper(I)]
The re-investigated structure of the title compound, [Cu2I2(C12H10N2)]n, a two-dimensional coordination polymer crystallizing with monoclinic (P21/n) symmetry, is based on data collected at 100 K, while the previously reported structure was obtained with

Crystal structure of 2-bromobenzoic acid at 120 K: a redetermination
The crystal structure of the title compound, C7H5BrO2, was originally studied using photographic data at room temperature with Cu Kα radiation [Ferguson & Sim (1962). Acta Cryst. 15, 346–350].

Crystal structure of lead(II) tartrate: a redetermination
Single crystals of poly[μ4-tartrato-κ6O1,O3:O1′:O2,O4:O4′-lead], [Pb(C4H4O6)]n, were grown in a gel medium. In comparison with the previous structure determination of this compound from laboratory powder X-ray diffraction data [De Ridder et al.
