Gravitational redshift and asymmetric redshift-space distortions for stacked clusters [PDF]
We derive the expression for the observed redshift in the weak field limit in the observer's past light cone, including all relativistic terms up to second order in velocity. We then apply it to compute the cluster-galaxy cross-correlation functions (CGCF) using N-body simulations.

Ozone‐based gas‐phase metal‐assisted chemical etching enables unprecedented room‐temperature fabrication of high‐quality silicon nanowires. The superior oxidation potential of O3 drives rapid vertical etching (1 µm min−1) while maintaining exceptional structural integrity. The pristine nanowire surfaces enable high‐performance core‐shell photodetectors

Forward Modeling of Galaxy Populations for Cosmological Redshift Distribution Inference
We present a forward-modeling framework for estimating galaxy redshift distributions from photometric surveys. Our forward model is composed of: a detailed population model describing the intrinsic distribution of the physical characteristics of galaxies,

The unrelaxed dynamical structure of the galaxy cluster Abell 85 [PDF]
For the first time, we explore the dynamics of the central region of a galaxy cluster within $r_{500}\sim 600h^{-1}$~kpc from its center by combining optical and X-ray spectroscopy.

The SDSS-IV Extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey: Baryon Acoustic Oscillations at Redshift of 0.72 with the DR14 Luminous Red Galaxy Sample [PDF]
The extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (eBOSS) Data Release 14 sample includes 80,118 luminous red galaxies (LRGs). By combining these galaxies with the high-redshift tail of the BOSS galaxy sample, we form a sample of LRGs at an effective ...

This study demonstrates the stability and Raman signal enhancement effects of Au@h‐BN nanoparticles in an alkaline electrolyte on. A comparison between conventional SiO2 and h‐BN shells reveals that the h‐BN core‐shell structure provides superior stability and enhanced Raman intensity over multiple cyclic voltammetry cycles.

1.4-GHz Luminosity Function of Galaxies from the Las Campanas Redshift Survey
A preliminary 1.4 GHz RLF at redshift of about 0.14 is derived from the Las Campanas Redshift Survey (LCRS) and the NVSS radio data. No significant evolution has been found at this redshift in comparison to the 'local' RLF.Comment: 2 pages including 2 ...

ANNz: estimating photometric redshifts using artificial neural networks [PDF]
We introduce ANNz, a freely available software package for photometric redshift estimation using Artificial Neural Networks. ANNz learns the relation between photometry and redshift from an appropriate training set of galaxies for which the redshift is ...

Photometric Redshifts of Quasars
We demonstrate that the design of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) filter system and the quality of the SDSS imaging data are sufficient for determining accurate and precise photometric redshifts (``photo-z''s) of quasars. Using a sample of 2625 quasars, we show that photo-z determination is even possible for z<=2.2 despite the lack of a strong ...
