Thermoplasmonic Nanorings for Passive Solar‐Responsive Smart Windows in Energy‐Efficient Building Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents scalable silver nanorings with tunable thermoplasmonic properties for smart window applications. By responding to sunlight and environmental changes, the nanorings modulate near‐infrared light and reduce heat transmission. Their unique geometry enables dynamic optical control, offering a promising route toward energy‐efficient ...

Testing gravitational physics by combining DESI DR1 and weak lensing datasets using the E_G estimator

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics
The action of gravitational physics across space-time creates observable signatures in the behaviour of light and matter. We perform combined-probe studies using data from the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) and Dark Energy Spectroscopic ...

Purcell‐Enhanced Spectrally Precise Emission in Dual‐Microcavity Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Spectrally precise emission from broadband organic light‐emitting diodes is realized via a dual‐microcavity strategy. This architecture achieves narrowband emission (full width at half maximum, FWHM = 21 nm) with ultrapure color approaching BT.2020 by enhancing the Purcell effect via coupling of excitons with dual‐microcavity resonance.

An Independent Measure of the Kinematic Dipole from SDSS

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We utilize the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) extended Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey and Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey catalogs with precise spectroscopic redshifts to estimate the kinematic redshift dipole caused by the proper ...

Synergistic Compatibilization of CsPbBr3 Perovskites and HfO2 Nanocrystals for Hybrid Sensitized Nanoscintillators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are promising scintillators but suffer from reabsorption losses and limited compatibility with high‐Z additives. Hybridization of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with PbBr2‐passivated HfO2 nanoparticle sensitizers, achieved during or after synthesis, produces stable composites with maintained optical quality, improved ...

The X-ray luminosity function of Active Galactic Nuclei in the redshift interval z=3-5

open access: yes, 2015
We combine deep X-ray survey data from the Chandra observatory and the wide-area/shallow XMM-XXL field to estimate the AGN X-ray luminosity function in the redshift range z=3-5.

Atomic‐Level Dual‐Cation Engineering Enables High‐Performance Na4VMn(PO4)3 Cathodes for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dual‐cation site engineering unlocks stable and fast sodium storage in Na4VMn(PO4)3 cathodes. Li+ at Na2 suppresses Jahn‐Teller distortion, while K+ at Na1 expands ion channels, enabling synchronized V/Mn redox and quasi‐single‐phase kinetics. This atomic‐level strategy achieves ultralong cycling stability, high‐rate capability, and full cell viability
